The perfect vacation suitcase – noticeable and beautiful, in any case, when you look at it, you want to hit the road as soon as possible! How to choose it and, most importantly, how to pack your luggage so that the trip is easy?
The ideal suitcase always weighs little. Of course, when it is empty. It is better to stay on a plastic model: such suitcases are more durable. The standard for an ideal suitcase is at least 2 pockets and 2 zippers that close in any direction. It has not 2, but 4 rubber wheels that rotate freely around their axis, so that the luggage will follow you without any effort.

Documents: passport, tickets, cash, credit cards, documents confirming the right to stay (for example, a hotel reservation on company letterhead with all contact details), a map of the city or resort, necessary addresses, and phone numbers, a photo of luggage (in case of loss or damage in the road).
Required accessories: contact lenses/glasses including spares, sunglasses, travel pillow.
Gadgets: phone, video camera, tablet, a couple of spare batteries or a rechargeable battery, chargers, headphones, travel hairdryer.
Cosmetic bag: wet antibacterial wipes, deodorant, a toothbrush with paste, lip balm, disposable razors, personal hygiene products, sunscreen with a UV factor of at least 30, decorative cosmetics.
Mini-first aid kit: painkiller, activated charcoal or any antacid, plasters, iodine in a pencil, motion sickness drug, aspirin, broad-spectrum antibiotic, sunburn remedy, “own” medicines.
Experienced Tips
This list of optional, but useful little things that can unexpectedly come in handy:
Shoe organizer. This is a hanger with transparent pockets in which you can put anything you want and hang it on the door. Knowledgeable people say an irreplaceable thing, but when folded it is lighter than a feather and no thicker than a wallet.
Steamer or travel iron. A special, lightweight plastic model the size of a lady’s shoe. The wardrobe on vacation will be at its best!
Large silk scarf. It will perfectly serve as a mini-quilt if you get cold on the way, and in the heat, it will be much cooler in it, since silk has unique thermoregulating properties. Having tied it in an intricate way, you can hide the mess on your head, throwing it over your shoulders – to protect yourself from sunburn, turn it into a pareo with a slight movement of your hand.
Folding bag (her place is at the bottom of the suitcase). Any model will do one that folds into a palm-sized handbag or a baggy shopping bag that folds like a book. The main thing is that it should be closed with a zipper and be of such a size as to keep stable on the suitcase when you roll it.
