Over the past year, TikTok has become the go-to platform for discovering the latest beauty tricks and trends. Between the strategic tricks of concealer and the creative ways of applying eyeliner, we’ve found plenty of ways to streamline our daily beauty routine.
Instead of applying foundation directly to a makeup brush or sponge, simply attach it to the lid of your foundation bottle and use it to apply foundation to your skin before blending.
As Tamra Lords, the makeup artist who shared this trick, explains, “You’ll use a lot less cream and get a ton more coverage, and you won’t have to wash your brushes as often.”
We’ve been using this trick for the past few weeks and can confirm we’re getting a lot more benefits from the foundation, which is great since our latest obsession (Huda Beauty’s glowing skin tone) doesn’t come cheap. And yes, our makeup brush is also less messy these days.
