Childhood and youth of Yana Solomko
The future artist was born on July 7, 1989, in the city of Chutovo, Poltava region.
Yana had an incomplete family. The girl grew up only with her mother and younger brother David, but she does not remember her father and does not know her name.
Little Yana was interested in the family tree and it turned out that the real name of her grandfather Abraham, who survived the Holocaust in Poland, was the surname, Solomon. In order to keep himself and his descendants alive, he had to change his personal data.
Little Yana loved to sing since childhood. From the age of 8, Solomko has already performed in many children’s music competitions and festivals: “Chervona Ruta” and the television project “I want to be a star.”
At the age of 13, the girl entered the specialized music school “Chervona Ruta” and moved to Kyiv.

Now I am looking for healthy and happy girls who are not taken into show business because of their magnificent forms. Usually such girls are put as backing vocalists, because they have a lot of power in their voice. I want these girls to be not near the wings, but next to me on stage. I used to be put on the back burner. They said that I would not achieve anything, that I was fat and would never lose weight. And I succeeded!”
In 2016, in the fall, it became known that Yana Solomko began work on a new Yanga project and announced the casting of plus-size girls who have good vocal skills.
Yana had an idea to create a group, which would include participants in non-standard forms and with the ability to sing.
Six months have passed and the singer announced that from now on she is not working with producer Yuri Nikitin and the project with curvy girls will not exist.
“After the birth of Kira, for some time I had to devote only to her, then there were shootings on STB. But I had ideas, melodies, images that Yuri supported. For the past six months, his team and I have been preparing a musical surprise for you. It was a great pleasure to work with a person like Yuri, but I realized that my path is different. I’m only happy when I’m completely free.”

Personal life
Yana says that they managed to maintain friendly relations with the bachelor. But over time, communication outside the project came to naught.

On May 16, 2014, Solomko married her lover, businessman Oleg from Donetsk, who is engaged in sea transportation.
As the singer recalls, they met abroad.
The couple arranged a wedding on the exotic islands of the Dominican Republic. What is most interesting, when the bride arrived there, she did not even know about the upcoming event. Everything, from beginning to end, was organized by a man in love.
