So, the founder of the “School of Mentors” Ekaterina Kalchenko is a psychologist and mentoring coach. The motto of the school is: “The future is already here.”
“School of Mentors”, first of all, sets the task not to teach a person another profession, but to reveal him as a person. Students must be ready to lead other people, and for this, they themselves need to believe in themselves, their strengths, and their capabilities.
A mentor is, first of all, a person who is ready to share his experience, skills, and life principles with others. I know that now there are a lot of different psychologists and training, and it is very difficult to choose worthy mentors. My task is to give my students confidence in themselves, their strengths, and capabilities, which for years have been blocked by others. A lot of people are not even aware of their talents or potential for a completely banal reason: they were taught from childhood that they don’t need it, that they need to live the right way, as accepted in society, and not the way they want to themselves. Hence, there are a lot of people who are dissatisfied with their lives and are afraid to change something in them. I believe that every person is an individual. It is only necessary that there is someone nearby who would help to help pull out hidden talents. Leaders are not born, leaders are made.
