For this reason, the pharmacist Meritxell Martí gives us some tips to choose the most suitable lip balm.
1. If it is very cold, choose lipsticks that are dense, since the wind and changes in temperature when entering inside the sites, make the lips dry a lot.
2. The main ingredients have to be shea butter or cocoa butter, vitamin E and vegetable oils. These active ingredients will make a protective film to prevent dehydration of the lip mucosa, preserving its water and protecting them from the cold.

3. The expert recommends sugar scrubs once or twice a week because they will help us eliminate dead cells and small loose skin. Ideally afterward, hydrate the lips in-depth with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.
4. If we want a plum effect we could use a balm with menthol or with some pepper.
5. Balms with natural ingredients are not ”addictive”.
6. Outside the house, better lipsticks, and inside we can use a jar.
