The other day – Viber – one of the world’s leading messaging platforms, introduced a new “Create Sticker” feature. The first details are in our material.
With the “Create Sticker” feature, users can create and add their own personalized sticker packs to express any emotion without words.
Viber has released thousands of sticker packs since 2013, and over 30 billion stickers were sent on the app last year alone. Now users can create and send them themselves with almost any image – the faces of friends, cute puppies, or, for example, an upcoming important event will appear in the chat.
To create your own sticker pack, the user needs to:
- Open the editor on the “Sticker Store” tab;
- Enter the sticker menu in any chat;
- Take a photo through the app to edit it instantly.
The Sticker Editor feature allows you to:
- Change the shape of stickers: users can change the position of the photo, rotate it, zoom in on a particular detail, and also remove the background in the picture.
- Sticker Design: Once you’ve chosen a “sticker” shape, make it truly unique by decorating it with lettering, emoji, or even other stickers.
Sticker pack creators decide whether other Viber users can see their creations by marking them as “private” or “shared”. In addition, users can complain to the Viber administration about sticker packs that violate the rules for using the application.
The Viber sticker-making feature is already available on the Android app in the Google Play Store and will be coming to iOS and PC soon.
